PRESS: Russian deputy economic minister Vedev to resign
MOSCOW, Feb 20 (PRIME) -- Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Vedev has filed for resignation, Izvestia newspaper reported on Monday.
“Alexei Vedev has confirmed that a decision was made, he wrote a letter of resignation and assumed that it will be approved already this week,” the daily said.
At the ministry, Vedev is in charge of department of budget planning and state programs and is responsible for macroeconomic forecasts and statistical data.
